I worked on as user experience designer for BMW Activate The Future (http://www.BMWactivatethefuture.com) web product while I was at KBS+.
This site has been designed for BMW’s new car ActiveE and their new electric car series. Our goal was introducing this new car to the public. We tried to highlight the life style changes that comes with the electric cars, environmental savings. Also, we showed users that electric cars range is actually good enough for our daily driving behaviors by showing them their daly millage and whats around them in that millage by using google maps.
Final phase that I worked on for this project was showing these informations as a big data visualization. We also add social networks in to our data visualization to add some competitive layer and also add more value in to the data that we are displaying by using information like users friends and their locations and how many chargers user needs to drive up to those friends.
